Definately a Morning Boy

I always smile when I hear Will waking up in the morning. I can't believe how happy he always is when he gets up. He usually has a bit of a conversation with his glow worm before I go in. I love it.

Zoo Day with Uncle Richard and Kelly

We had the pleasure of spending the day with my brother and his sweety Kelly at the Zoo a couple weekends ago. We had a really wonderful time. Any time spent with my brother is amazing, but it was especially nice having Kelly there too. We all had a great time. Plus, Kelly is a nutty as Richard. Match made in heaven really.

The best Auntie Ever!!!

I love these pictures of Erynn and Kiera, she is so great with all the babies. I love our coffee times together ladies.

Grateful, Not Grumpy

I came up with this saying a while ago that Paul and I need to be focused on being, "Grateful, not Grumpy". I love my husband. This weekend he decided that every hour, we had to say something that we were grateful for. Every hour. You might think that was easy, no problem. It was but it really made me think and made for an amazing weekend. We truly have so much to be grateful for. I highly recommend it.

Well, it's official

Yes, it's official, my son no longer needs me to feed him. I know he's 19 months old and he's been feeding himself for months now. But the one thing I still did was feed him his oatmeal in the morning. I don't know why I was holding on to that so long, but not anymore. He wants to do it all himself and don't you even dare try to help him because he gets down right mad at you :o) I love that he's growing up. No more bottles too. Now all I have to work on it the sucky. We're going to attempt that next week so say a prayer if you remember. I think i'll call it, "Operation Remove Sucky". I'll keep you posted on how it all goes. I figure a few sleepless nights and we should be good to go. Mostly I feel sad that i'm going to make him so unhappy, he LOVES his sucky.

Narnia

I'm really excited about getting this rocking chair. My dad made this chair and my mom painted the Narnia characters on it. It was made for my sister's husbands niece when she was little. She's all grown up now and moving to a place where she can't take it with her and so it was passed to Will. I LOVE this chair and Will hasn't left it alone since it arrived on Sunday. He's still a bit too small for it but he loves to sit on it while watching cartoons. It's so special to have something grandma and grandpa actually made with their own two hands.

Mother's Day 2008

I had such a great weekend with my family. Paul and I spent the day on Saturday looking for tile for the renos on the kitchen and looking at beautiful flowers that we'll be planting in a couple weeks out in our huge garden :o) I just love days like that especially when Will is in such a great mood and easy to shop with which he totally was.

Then I woke up on Sunday morning to beautiful flowers and Barbara Walters new Memoir (I love those kinds of books) and a very funny card from Will that totally represented him (thanks daddy)

Then as an added bonus, mom and dad showed up around 11am and spent the day with us. They haven't been here in ages and it was so nice to have them here. Will loved having them here and loved walking the dog and of course going to park. He loves playing with Grandpa.

All in all, it was a wonderful day that left me feeling very grateful and blessed for family.

Bossom Buddies

We had so much fun having Malakai over for a play date this past Friday afternoon. They seriously enjoyed each others company. It was great to see Will having so much fun, he took the big brother thing really easily. It totally confirmed in me that he definitely needs a sibling. He LOVES having other babies over. It's hard to explain but he just takes over and looks after them. He was definitely going make sure that Malakai had a good time.

Happy Birthday Laura!

Thursday was Laura's birthday so Will and I decided to make her some cupcakes and go for a visit. As always, we had a wonderful time being together and Will enjoyed being with Kiera. He's always trying to pick babies up when he sees them. He seems to be really taken with them. It was a great visit and a great chance to celebrate such a beautiful friend and person. Happy Birthday Laura!!!

Corn on the Cobb

Ah yes, tis the season for corn on the cobb. I love corn on the cobb and when Will saw us eating it, he wanted to try it. So we let him and he loves it. If I need to keep him busy for a half an hour now, all I have to do is throw him a cobb and he's good to go....haha

Snuggle time with Auntie Veronica

My sister was here for a couple days on business this week and as always, Will LOVES seeing her and playing with her. She's so much fun to play with and hang around with. When it was time to settle down for the night it seemed Will and Dante just wanted a snuggle with Auntie Veronica.

Mommy's Little Helper

These days, every little thing that used to take only minutes, now takes just that much longer. Will likes to "help" mommy with pretty much everything these days and it's best to just let him have at it and have some fun. He's actually pretty cute about it if you ask me. He's really picking up stuff really fast now, I love it.
