Rubber Ducky

Beautiful Boy and the Balloons that won't die

Wednesday, October 24, 2007

If you can believe it, it's been almost 4 weeks since Will's little surprise party from the kids and ladies and the balloons are still alive!! He LOVES them and plays with them when he eats-as I've tied them to his high chair. Seriously they won't die. They are still as perky as the day we brought them home.

Aeye Matie (sp?)

Pretty much every night now, Paul does the amazing job of giving me a break and taking over the night time rituals with Will. At about 7:30 he gives Will a bath, puts on his pjammies and feeds him and puts him to bed. But as he's undressing him he plays this silly pirate game with Will and they sing and dance in front of the mirror. Paul figures that by doing this it will help rid Will of his phobia of hats. I'd say it's working.

Misc Cute Pics of my Will

Nothing major to report this week accept for the fact that I think Will has decided that he is just fine with one nap during the day instead of two :o( Mommy still needs two. Other than that, he is his same old, happy-go-lucky-eat-everything-in-site-sweety-pie-self!!! And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Music Man

Thursday, October 11, 2007

One of Will's favorite gifts was the singing book from Daddy on his birthday. He loves books and just loves music.

Oh Soooo Close!

Thursday, October 11, 2007

Will is finally showing some signs of wanting to walk. He has been trying to pull himself up against all the furniture. He's really close to doing it, but gets really frustrated when he can't. He'll be moving just in time for Christmas when he will be pulling himself up on to the Christmas tree i'm sure.

One Year Ago Today

Tuesday, October 9, 2007

My beautiful William. It was one year ago today that I saw you and held you for the first time. From the moment you were born, until this very day, you have been nothing but a complete joy to me and your daddy. You are the most beautiful little boy that I have ever laid eyes on and I'm so proud to call you mine. I want you to know that your daddy and I planned you and wanted you and have loved you even before we conceived you. We hoped and dreamed for you and the day we found out you were coming we were happier than we have ever been. You have so many people that love you and are looking out for you and can't wait to watch you discover new things and grow. I love every minute of every day with you and know that every time I hold you in my arms or see your sweet face, I fall in love with you more and more and thank God for my beautiful baby boy.
Your Mamma

William's 1st Birthday Party

We celebrated William's first birthday with 25 of our family members on Thanksgiving Monday. Will had a great time and was so spoiled. He has so many new toys and a whole new wordrobe.

At one years old he weighs 26 pounds, and is 3l inches long. He is happy and healthy and is talking up a storm. His words include juice, mama, dad, me, baby, and of course.....no. He mimicks me when I shake or nod my head, waves bye bye and claps when you say yeah. He loves books and music and dances whenever he hears it. He has 6 teeth. He's our little man now and we're loving every minute of it.

Now Introducing Shannon Fadyomi

Well, I can't believe it's all over. It was a perfect day for Shannon and David's Wedding. Shannon had to be one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen. I'm so happy for her and David and was so honored to stand up for her.

Surprise for Will

When Will and I arrived at Erin's on Wednesday to meet the gang for our regular weekly get together, we opened the door to find a surprise birthday party for Will. There were balloons and streamers and beautiful gifts from everyone and yummy crave cupcakes. Thanks to my wonderful friends for thinking of Will. The only thing that would of made it perfect was to see Anderson but he was having a power nap and missed the whole thing. But the kids had fun playing with all of his toys anyway :o)

6 More Sleeps!!!

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

It's so hard to believe that Will is almost a year old. I have loved this year at home and love watching him explore and grow into the little man that he is. We had one of those days yesterday that everything just seemed "good" you know. Will was just so happy and was so playful. We decided to head outside and enjoy some sunshine and explore two new things for him; leaves and flowers. He was so taken by both, I had to of course take pictures. And Will just wouldn't be Will if he didn't try to eat everything. I am just so in love with my little boy, he will always be my sweet baby to me.

Paul has this DREAM..........

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2007

Some of you may be surprised to know that Paul LOVES to juggle. Yes he has always dreamed of being a famous juggling performer....star. Seriously, he loves it. For his birthday I bought him juggling pins, which are surprisingly expensive! Who knew?? And of course this video on everything you wanted to know about juggling. May not sound exciting but it is truly fun watching him and Will gets a total kick out of it. Paul has decided he and Will are going to form their own Father and Son Juggling act. Ahh, good times :o)
