Definately a Morning Boy

I always smile when I hear Will waking up in the morning. I can't believe how happy he always is when he gets up. He usually has a bit of a conversation with his glow worm before I go in. I love it.

Zoo Day with Uncle Richard and Kelly

We had the pleasure of spending the day with my brother and his sweety Kelly at the Zoo a couple weekends ago. We had a really wonderful time. Any time spent with my brother is amazing, but it was especially nice having Kelly there too. We all had a great time. Plus, Kelly is a nutty as Richard. Match made in heaven really.

The best Auntie Ever!!!

I love these pictures of Erynn and Kiera, she is so great with all the babies. I love our coffee times together ladies.

Grateful, Not Grumpy

I came up with this saying a while ago that Paul and I need to be focused on being, "Grateful, not Grumpy". I love my husband. This weekend he decided that every hour, we had to say something that we were grateful for. Every hour. You might think that was easy, no problem. It was but it really made me think and made for an amazing weekend. We truly have so much to be grateful for. I highly recommend it.

Well, it's official

Yes, it's official, my son no longer needs me to feed him. I know he's 19 months old and he's been feeding himself for months now. But the one thing I still did was feed him his oatmeal in the morning. I don't know why I was holding on to that so long, but not anymore. He wants to do it all himself and don't you even dare try to help him because he gets down right mad at you :o) I love that he's growing up. No more bottles too. Now all I have to work on it the sucky. We're going to attempt that next week so say a prayer if you remember. I think i'll call it, "Operation Remove Sucky". I'll keep you posted on how it all goes. I figure a few sleepless nights and we should be good to go. Mostly I feel sad that i'm going to make him so unhappy, he LOVES his sucky.

Narnia

I'm really excited about getting this rocking chair. My dad made this chair and my mom painted the Narnia characters on it. It was made for my sister's husbands niece when she was little. She's all grown up now and moving to a place where she can't take it with her and so it was passed to Will. I LOVE this chair and Will hasn't left it alone since it arrived on Sunday. He's still a bit too small for it but he loves to sit on it while watching cartoons. It's so special to have something grandma and grandpa actually made with their own two hands.
