We went to see the beautiful baby Kiera and her mommy and Daddy last night. She is such a little pumkin, she slept the entire time. Laura and Reg are wonderful parents and are loving every minute with her. Will gave her a big "HI" when her saw her and touched her little hand, it was so cute. There are now 5 babies in the gang.

Ladies and Gentlemen.....in his Debut Performance...
C-C-C-Cold Outside
We decided to have a family fun day this past Sunday. We had a great day, playing games both with Will, and just me and Paul when Will was sleeping. Paul borrowed the Wii from the office and we had so much fun. Then in the afternoon, despite the terrible cold weather and snow, we went swimming! Will LOVED it, he didn't want to be in our arms at all, he wanted to go out on his own, he'll be swimming in no time. By the time we got home, it was really cold and a blizzard so our only concern was getting Will and us in the house quickly. We accidentally forgot the swim bags in the car until the next morning. I don't know if it's clear enough in these pictures, but when I took the swimsuits out of the bag, they were frozen solid! I had to thaw them out before I could wash them. Now that's cold!

Two Guys Just Like Us
Don't you just love baby feet?
Okay, so along with all the other wonderful traits that Will gets from his daddy, he also has his daddy's feet. I didn't even know you could pass down toe weirdness from parent to child, but indeed, it is apparent you can. Paul's feet are exactly the same, the toe between the big toe and the third toe sits slightly above them both. I thought it was weird when I saw Paul's feet, but when I saw Will's, I couldn't believe it. I LOVE it, and just want to bite them (Will's feet, not Paul's eeewww) which is what I usually do. See for yourself.
Okay, so I had to add these pics, seeing as we're on a foot theme.
Everytime Will sits in his high chair, he hooks his toes onto the the front handle of his high chair. He's apparently very bendy.

Coffe with the Girls and the not-so-small-babies!
Two Peas in a Pod
Will and I had a little visit with Karla and Amie yesterday. I decided it was a nice day for a walk so we met Karla and Amie at their house. Well, needless to say, it was NOT a nice day for a walk after all. We lasted about 20 minutes which also included walking backwards for a portion to keep the ice chilling wind out of our faces. It was SO COLD! So back to Karla's for a snack and hot chocolate to warm up. Will and Amie always have a great time playing together but they are so into everything right now and have to have what the other person has. They're so cute.
Ain't No Mountain High Enough
Any chance Will gets, he's climbing the stairs. I let him do it at least a couple times a day for exercise Ha Ha. Sorry for all the talking in the background. I find it so hard to be quiet when I'm video taping Will.
Oh Sooooooooo Close
Paul and I were saying last night how we think that Will has gone through a growth spurt this past week. He seems bigger and heavier and talking more and super happy and active and just all kinds of things. His new favorite thing is walking around with the chair, he's so proud of himself when he does it too.

Classic Will
Will has been so silly today. Something has been tickling his funny bone all day because everything seemed funny today. In this video he's holding a piece of toast and to move around, he didn't want to drop it so he's crawling on his elbow. If anything, it makes you smile. You just can't help it. New word today is hot.

Tiny Bubbles
Will and I started Gymboree yesterday and can I tell you, it is fantastic. It's so much fun and bright and beautiful and colorful. He did pretty good. I have to say though the best part was when Anderson lost his soother and he started to cry, and Will reached over and picked up his soother and put it back in his mouth. It was so funny, he just did it without giving it a second thought. Anyway, at one point they used these really great bubbles that aren't soapy and don't really pop. They were stuck all over us. erin still had them on her back when she left. I had to buy some, so this is Will having a little fun in the tub. The funniest part as that after I put him to bed an hour later I was still finding a bubble here and there on walls, and stuff upstairs. This stuff is so cool! And non-toxic.

Coffee with the Girls and Babies
We haven't gotten together for coffee since before Christmas and boy have the kids grown! We missed erin, Anderson and Laura who couldn't be there, but Amie, Faith and Will had a great time. Faith is now sitting up on her own and moving pretty good. Miss Amie is going to walk any day now and Will is his usual chatty self. It was nice getting together.

Michael Buble
Thanks to erin and Mike for treating me to Michael Buble last night. Mike ended up not being able to go so erin asked if i'd like to go. HELLO!!!! He was fantastic, we both said it was one of the best concerts we've been at. He actually makes the heart go pitter-patter. Paul if you're reading this, it's not like the pitter-patter you give me, this is different. Love you.
It's probably illegal to post this, but what the heck.

Thank You!
Paul and I just want to say thank you to all of our friends and family for being so sweet to us over the last few days. Thank you for the beautiful flowers and gifts, hot meals, phone calls (all the way from Panama)cards and kind words and of course the visits. Paul and I are so blessed to have such a wonderful circle of people around us that love and support us so much.
We are grateful.

Another day with Mr. Sicky Pants
Ah yes, another day with a sick baby. Will's third cold has now turned to a nasty cough. He coughed so much it's made him actually hoarse. Poor sweetie, I can tell his throat is sore too, because he usually cries after he coughs.
But bless his little heart if he isn't always in good spirits anyways. He was up in the middle of the night last night again as the coughing wakes him or keeps him up. But there is nothing in the world I love more than holding on to him and rocking him to sleep. He has become my snugly baby again and I'll take it any way I can get it. He puts his little head on my shoulder and wraps his legs around me and holds on for dear life. As I rocked him last night and prayed over him, I was reminded of what an awesome responsibility I have to look out for this little boy, and to comfort him and love him. He's putting all his eggs in my basket :o)

Cherry Pie!
Alas, what better way to celebrate a hard workout at Yoga, than to bake a home made Cherry Pie. Haha. Thanks to erin for putting the whole pie bug in my ear....I decided to bake a pie last night.
Now if you ask me, a truly great pie is all about the crust. I can't take all the credit for this crust as it is Erynn's mom's family recipe. BUT, i have made a couple secret additions to it of my own, which of course I will only reveal upon fear of death.
I have to say, it was really good pie. Now, the challenge will be to come up with some unique sort of filling. Fun. Thanks erin.

Happy New Year! & Happy 3rd Anniversary!
Paul and I had a wonderful time bringing in the New Year and celebrating our 3rd Anniversary last night. The Carmichael's invited us to join them for dinner at Pic Niq's. Following dinner, we went downstairs to Beat Niq's Jazz club where we had tickets to hear the band that night. It was actually a funk/Motown kind of band and it was so fantastic. We danced and had a really fantastic time. It was nice to actually go out on a date for our Anniversary.
A big thank you to Reg and Laura who watched our little man over night for us. They were so amazing with him, we really appreciated not having to worry about how he was or if he was having a good time. I think he was actually sad to leave when we picked him up in the morning. Thanks guys, you're the best.
Happy New Year my wonderful friends. Know that you are all so important to me and that I love you so very much.
